Welcome to HerLand, where I share my projects, my writings and my daily life.

This page exits because…

One day I woke up and realized I wanted my existence to be acknowledged. Now you’re starting to get to know me.

“It’s interesting how dawn and dusk are so alike.”
I’m Vietnamese. There is no language that describe myself better than my mother tounge.
Xin Chào. Mình là người Việt Nam

My Viet Blog

Interestingly…

“Being a normal person requires as much effort as being an extraordinary one.”

English is not my mother tongue. But there’s something fascinating about learning a second language: I get to choose what to take in.

When you communicate in a language, you begin to think in it. It still amazes me how differently my brain works when I switch between languages.

Sometimes I’m required to use English to write something. Sometimes I just have the need to use it. And sometimes I force myself. I post them all. Every writing. I feel like I’m leaving traces of a living mind on the internet.

I want to be connected.

Sure then 说

Yes, I’m learning Mandarin. There’s no specific reason — but I do feel like being able to speak three languages fluently is such a flex, haha. Writing blogs in Mandarin is my way of keeping myself from forgetting it. You shouldn’t expect deep blog posts in Mandarin, but rather something like formal diary entries or conversations with a close friend
