To learn – To grow

You can probably tell that I love trying new things. I made a promise to myself to learn something new every year, and I’ve kept that promise since secondary school.

For me, learning is not just about gaining new knowledge or skills. It helps me understand myself better, to recognize my strengths, acknowledge my weaknesses, and discover how I can continue to grow. Whether I’m learning a new language, developing a new soft skill, or stepping outside of my comfort zone, every new experience helps me become a better version of myself and pushes me toward a new limit.

I believe that if life is a marathon, then I should be the one setting my own finish line. And one way to know that you’re still moving forward, still growing, and still truly living is to never stop learning and never allow yourself to become stagnant.

My journey in Pottery

Pottery has taught me to slow down and be patient. It is also full of surprises, because the final outcome can be very different from what you imagined. You have to be super careful, because even a small crack that goes unnoticed before firing can cause a piece to break or even explode in the kiln.
But at the same time, not every accident is a mistake. Sometimes, a small imperfection can become a unique detail or decoration that makes a piece even more beautiful—something you never planned for, but end up loving. Pottery has taught me that we can’t always control the outcome, and sometimes, the unexpected can turn out to be the most beautiful part.
